# Contributor Guide

**What are ChainBounty Points (CBP)?**

ChainBounty Points (CBP) are the reward system designed to encourage meaningful participation and contributions within the ChainBounty platform. By reporting threats, scams, posting insightful content, and engaging with the community, you earn CBP as a token of appreciation for your efforts in building a safer and more transparent ecosystem.

***

**How Does It Work?**

* **Earn CBP**: Gain points for verified Threat/Scam reports, Community posts, comments, and daily platform engagement.
* **Track Rewards**: Check this page for a detailed breakdown of all CBP issued and earned by contributors.
* **Convert to Tokens**: In the future, CBP will be **convertible to ChainBounty Tokens (BOUNTY)**, enabling further use within the platform and beyond.

***

**Daily Quota Policy**

To maintain fairness and balance within the community, ChainBounty implements a **daily quota** for CBP activities:

1. **Threat Reports**: Max **10 reports per day**.
2. **Scam Reports**: Max **10** **reports per day**.
3. **Community Posts**: Max **3 posts per day**.
4. **Comments**: Max **10 comments per day**.

Exceeding your daily quota will temporarily disable earning points for that activity until the next day. A notification will guide you when you’ve reached the limit.

***

**Total CBP Allocation Cap**

Each week, the platform sets a **maximum total CBP allocation** for all contributors. This cap prevents inflation and ensures the long-term sustainability of rewards. If the total allocated points reach the monthly cap, no further CBP will be distributed until the next month.

***

**Transparency First**

All CBP transactions are recorded here for community visibility. This ensures transparency in rewards distribution and builds trust within our ecosystem.

***

**Looking Ahead**

CBP will play a central role in the ChainBounty ecosystem. As we evolve, contributors will be able to **exchange CBP for ChainBounty Tokens (BOUNTY)**, empowering users to further benefit from their active participation. Stay tuned for updates on this feature!
